The Tulsa Oilers Booster Club Sends Regrets
Texas Brahmas Fans Offended
The Tulsa Oilers Booster Club (TOBC) would like to apologize to the Texas Brahmas for the actions of an unruly attendee during third period at Friday’s game. We regret that Texas Brahmas fans were made to feel unwelcome at the BOK Center in Tulsa. The unruly attendee is not a member of the Tulsa Oilers Booster Club. We are happy to report that several Tulsa Oilers fans as well as Booster Club members took the time to personally apology to the offended Texas Brahmas’ fans for the actions of the unruly attendee.
Tulsa Oilers fans and Booster Club members have always been treated with the utmost respect when visiting NYTEX Sports Centre. We understand and share the passion and commitment to the game of hockey. The Booster Club encourages all fans to conduct themselves with decorum and respect when cheering for your team. A Letter of Apology from Tulsa Oilers Booster Club has been sent to Texas Brahmas Fan Club President Mary Bradford. We sincerely hope the Texas Brahmas Booster Club and fan base will continue to visit the BOK Center for future away games.
The Booster Club does not condone nor encourage unsportsmanlike conduct. Any Booster Club member who participates in this type of conduct will be terminated from the club.
